People with very oily skin and large pores are not good candidates for microblading. The pigments used in microblading attract water. Oily skin has difficulty absorbing the pigment because oil and water repel each other. Microblading is performed with ultra-fine blades to implant the pigment into the skin while drawing individual hair strokes.

The first appointment at Swiss Happy Brows lasts approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. We measure your eyebrows using a brow symmetry app, and your specialist will discuss your desired shape with you before the actual microblading procedure begins. We consider your treatment complete only when you have received perfect care. Therefore, we only offer packages.

The technique: In fact, the microblading technique differs significantly from the powder brow technique. With microblading, the fine eyebrow hairs are drawn into the uppermost layer of skin using a small scalpel-like tool and then filled with pigment. Some people find the procedure somewhat painful, and the skin can be quite red shortly after microblading, but it usually heals well.

After the treatment, skincare products specifically formulated for the needs of pigmented skin should be used. UV radiation, saunas, and oil-based cosmetics should be avoided – especially in the first few weeks after pigmentation. Even after the healing process is complete, it is advisable to apply sufficient UV protection and avoid oil- or fruit acid-based cosmetics.
